September Nineteen 2009


Shannon (She got her first unassisted pullup today.)

5 rounds for time of:
400M Run
30 weighted situps
15 Bodyweight deadlifts

  2. modified a recipe off mark's daily apple & turned out deliciously! if anyone's interested.
    curry chicken salad lettuce wraps

    3 medium chicken breasts
    slice into thin strips, then cut into 1/2 inch cubes
    cook in skillet with some water til white throughout. add salt and generous pepper while cooking

    4 stalks celery
    slice lengthwise, then chop

    1 apple -chopped

    3/4 cups chopped walnuts (i used food processor)

    mix all the above

    sauce:
    about 5 Tbsp real mayo
    2-3 Tbsp olive oil
    fresh lemon juice, from 1/2 lemon
    about 1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
    pinch (1/2 tsp ish) of chili powder
    pinch dry mustard
    lots of curry powder...to taste, i dumped it in.

    mix sauce, pour over chicken mixture and stir.
    chill, then eat in lettuce wraps
